Happy November, Owl Families!

This month, we will be continuing learning about Pumpkins. We will also be talking about Thanksgiving and Harvesting fruits and vegetables. We will continue doing Letters of the Week, and Show and Share/PJ Day every Friday. With the weather getting colder, please make sure your child has jackets, hats and gloves at school!

Owl Curriculum Corner - October 2018

Happy October Owl Families!

This month the Owls will be learning about all things Fall! We will spend the next few weeks learning about apples, pumpkins, leaves, the season of Autumn, and more!

Throughout the month of October, we will continue to do Owl of the Week each week, Letter of the Week, and pajama day every Friday. Remember, when it’s your child’s turn to be the Owl of the Week, they are more than welcome to bring a snack to share and create an All About Me poster to share with their friends!

Owl Curriculum Comer-September 2018

Summer is drawing to an end, and Fall is quickly approaching. This month will be all about apples! We will be cooking with apples, tasting apples and learning about the apple life cycle. We will also be doing various science experiments and art projects with apples. The children will be playing with Apple Pie scented PlayDoh, as well as apple cinnamon oatmeal. 

We will also be starting our "Letter of the Week" in September, and continue Show and Share every Friday.

Owls Curriculum Corner- August 2018

Summer is quickly coming to an end, and the new school year is quickly approaching. In the month of August, we will be learning about community helpers, cooking, and all about me. We will be discussing different types of community helpers and what they do in our community. We will be having a fireman visit our school, and learn all about what firefighters do. For our cooking theme, the children will be experimenting with different recipes as well as kitchen items in the dramatic play area. We will even be doing some food based art and sensory play.
