"Everyday we are more convinced that our daughter is in very capable and loving hands."

Curriculum

From birth to age 5 children grow mentally, emotionally and physically at a faster pace than any other period of their lives. . .

We emphasize literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and computer learning, with cultural experiences in music and movement, dramatic play, art, Spanish and Chinese.

Literacy and Language predominate the curriculum at the Academy. Children of all ages are read to each day and encouraged to express themselves through language and the creative experiences of dramatic play, music, and art. Daily exposure to the written letter and sounds letters make to form words provide children with the basis for learning to read and write.

Mathematics and Science are taught with multiple hands on activities that provide a basis for a concrete understanding of numbers and operations of numbers, collecting data, and experiences for critical thinking at the different age levels.

Social Studies is key to individualizing our preschool for the children and to create a multicultural understanding of our world. Each child is unique and shown how they are a part of the school as a whole. The children are exposed to the seven continents by identifying maps as well as understanding the similarities and differences of the people from each continent.
Spanish and Chinese are taught as second languages.

Art, Music, Dramatic Play, and building with blocks are among a variety of classroom activities that allow children to be creative.
