Our school\u2019s curriculum is individualized to meet each child’s unique level of development.  Parents are consulted and encouraged to participate in their child\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We follow the Creative Curriculum. The Creative Curriculum:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–\u00a0is based on 38 objectives for development and learning, which are\u00a0fully aligned with the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework\u00a0as well as\u00a0early learning standards for Missouri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–\u00a0is an approved\u00a0Early Childhood Curriculum by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–\u00a0addresses all the important areas of learning, from social-emotional and math to technology and the arts, and incorporates them throughout every part of every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–\u00a0offers daily, built-in opportunities for observation, helping teachers and administrators clearly see the strong relationship between curriculum and assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Creative Curriculum focuses on the relationship between an individual child and their caregiver and the four areas of development: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Social\/Emotional<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Physical<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Cognitive<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Language<\/p>\n\n\n\n
